Love the site. PUMA is a fraud – a bunch of republican racists who were voting for McCain anyway.

No democrat woman would vote to assure the repeal of Roe v Wade under McCain. They aren’t democrats – never were.

  2. Christina Says:

Wait, don’t they go calling around calling themselves feminists? that’s strange.

  3. Stephanie Says:

Like I said before- I really like that banner.. make me one.

  4. Kudos to you guys. Thanks for CARING about the TRUTH.

  5. antifish Says:

    Hi Antipumas,

Just wanted to come by and see what you thought about your Messiah voting yes on FISA? Clinton voted no. It’s not too late for you to contact the superdelegates and tell them to vote for the right person in Denver. Or, you can all continue your circle-jerk and keep calling us Republicans, your choice. Later, I have superdelegates to contact and a trip to Denver to plan.

  6. Samskara Says:

We cab achieve party unity only when the party, and its nominees, further then ideals of its members. The Democratic party has deserted its members, not the other way around. Howard Dean is counting on mindless party loyalty to win the election — and there may be enough of that going around to assure the presidency to Dean, Obama & Co. — but some of us still prefer democracy to Democracy, even if it means we have to vote Republican to show we’re serious.

  7. Christina Says:

And how does voting Republican show ANYONE that you’re for democracy? What statement are you making? “I didn’t get my way.. to hell with the country!”
You are aware that FL and MI delegations were seated, Obama won the popular vote, and that he had many, many, many more delegates than Clinton- and that primaries are about Delegates. So I have a REAL hard time understanding just what the DNC has done to “leave” their supporters.

  8. Kellie Says:

This site will be inundated with comments from PUMA’s.

They have nothing better to do than troll the internet spreading lies

Oh yeah don’t forget when talking to a PUMA always remember that Hillary Clinton and John McCain have never done ANYTHING wrong and that they have never EVER flip flopped on any issue. They are perfect in every way.

Also know this, if you support Barack Obama you are a kool-aid drinking, Marxist, white guilt moron.

  9. Christina,

Why should people support a party that they feel has betrayed them and stopped listening to them?

The “you have no where else to go” meme is old and tired. The issues that PUMA’s care about are much more important than any of the kitchen table stuff that keeps getting rammed down our throats.

They changed our votes in Michigan… literally CHANGED them, and awarded Obama 4 delegates Hillary earned. That is a violation of the basic principles of democracy.

They stood by and said nothing about the sexism that happened during the campaign in the media, and in the public arena, not to mention Obama’s little comments about being “periodically down” and her “claws” coming out. Oh, and don’t forget about his little Jay Z 99 problems song….

And yet, if there was something that maybe might could possible be inferred if you twisted it the right way into something that could be racist, everyone is up in arms. But when Hillary gets confronted with sign that call her a bitch, tell her to go back to her ironing, pundits on major networks like cnn, fox and msnbc call her castrating, bitchy, a bitch and that she sounds like an ex-wife outside a divorce court, a… does anyone say ANYTHING… no, not a god damned peep.

So please excuse the fact that PUMA’s are so concerned about Democracy, the sanctity of the vote, the equality of people and sexism, that we are willing to make a stand and “just say no deal” to a group of people that stood by and let all this happen, and/or participated in making it happen.

    NObama.

  11. Fubo08 Says:

I want to know how your life will be changed at the end of Hussains 3rd year in the White house? Assuming he lives that long.

  12. Elspeth Says:

So you drum us out of the party and then you smear us as racists.

And now you want us to believe a flurry of emails you send so we’ll vote for your candidate?

    ROFLMAO!!

  13. Christina Says:

fubo, lu4puma, soldierofchrist, are ALL the same person and I would like to know why you are insinuating that somehow Senator Obama would die before the endof his term if he became president?

  14. Cat in NJ Says:

Honest to God, if I didn’t witness this myself … the PUMApac has NOTHING to fear from this fictitious site. It’s business as usual: cry RACISM to defend Comrade O and disguise your embarrassment. As if most of you knew a thing about the dynamics of the Democratic party, or US politics in general. You couldn’t care less about the party, so don’t speak for people who do. He may win the election. Sure hope he has a great VP. The Democratic party needs a Democrat in office, not a president whose ideology is better suited for third-world countries.

People are finally waking up and insisting upon fair and qualified elections,…folks are and have been so fed up with the way things have been and realize it is up to each and every one of us to have a voice and use it! so what if some of us are pissed off at the way Hillary was treated… who cares about women, really? who cares about the rights of voters? who cares how the media has corrupted this country? as long as your candidate is the “apparent” nominee why should you care about your fellow democrats who are feeling quite put – off? the more i see this vitriolic hatred towards PUMAs, the more i realize i have to be one… to try to defend the right as free people to have an opinion, a vote, a philosophy, an awareness and an outcry for some sanity…!!! i know that the truth will indeed remind us of how free we all are.

  22. Karen Freed Says:

You see, if Senator Clinton had won the Democratic nomination I would have voted for her even though I favored Senator Obama. I thought that we were fortunate to have two such great options (or three, if you include John Edwards). Though I can understand the discouragement that Clinton suporters must feel, I cannot understand why they would support a Republican over a Democrat, particularly if the pumas essentially declare themselves “lifelong” Democrats. John McCain’s policies are in direct opposition to the policies espoused by both Clinton and Obama. And may I remind you that all Democratic contenders signed an agreement not to campaign in states that refused to follow the DNC calendar. Changing one’s mind afterward is not an option. Clinton should have fought the DNC BEFORE the damage was done. You pumas are being misled by conservative operatives and some of us are just trying to point that out. You’re being used. By all means write in Hillary at election time, but voting for McCain is like shooting yourself in the foot to spite your toes.

  23. Karen Freed Says:

A note though, writing in Hillary on the ballot will essentially be the same as voting for McCain because you’ll only succeed in splitting the Democratic vote. I’m hoping that if you really think about it (setting emotion aside) you’ll allow reason to win out over hurt feelings.

  24. Elise Says:

Karen, I really want to do this right so bear with me. I am assuming you are a young woman, although nothing is a given on the Internet. Will you listen to a different point of view? Most Democrats were excited last year when the election process began because we couldn’t wait to see Bush/Cheney out of the White House. We had some good candidates, it would be a fair fight and we would be united at the end. It was going to be a blowout for our party. Most of us knew Hillary and admired her. In fact, her first year in the White House the Gallup Poll showed her to be the most admired woman in the world. That was 1994, again in 1995. In 1996/1997 she came in second behind Mother Teresa. First in 1998,1999 and 2000. In 2001, second behind Laura Bush. 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 she was Most Admired Woman in the World. The Republican attacks were constant from the beginning, but she and her husband survived a $100mil investigation into every part of their lives from 1976-1999. They survived the public spectacle of his infidelity and she never lost her poise, never bowed her head or lost her dignity. She was an intricate part of his administration, the only First Lady to have her own office in the West Wing. Her healthcare plan had been a dream for many years. It was defeated by a Republican majority. They called it socialized medicine. But she never gave up and she never gave in. Sorry for the history lesson, but since I’m not sure of your age, I don’t know if you know some of the past that is relevant today. When they left the White House, Bill Clinton had an approval rating of 60% and during the Impeachment Hearing, it was 70%. Unfortunately for the Republicans, Americans have been very tolerant about infidelity in our presidents and the list is long. Throughout most of our history, they have not been discussed in the press. If you Google Presidential Extra-marital Affairs, you will probably be shocked. None of the marriages have ended in divorce and none of the First Ladies, the last one being Jackie Kennedy, have been blamed. Sorry if I’m telling you things you already know.

In 2004, I campaigned for John Kerry, made phone calls did some canvassing with my husband and we watched the convention, of course. It was the first time I had ever seen or heard of Barack Obama and his speech blew me away. I turned to my husband and said he will be president someday.

Hillay announced her candidacy and a short time later, Sen. Obama did the same. I knew he had just been elected to the senate and I believe most felt this was an actual run for the VP and the prospect of sixteen years of a Democratic President couldn’t have made me happier. Maybe you remember the controversy over Fl., Mi. and the other states wanting to move their primaries. I wasn’t surprised. I never understood why Iowa, a red caucus state should have that prominence anyway. But I was shocked by the RBC decision and I remember reading a NYT article saying this would be a blow to Hillary’s campaign, but it would take months before I really understood the significance. I liked Sen. Obama, felt he lacked experience, but could in time, be president.

The first MSNBC debate was upsetting. Not because of anything he did. No, it was Russert and Mathews questions to the others about Hillary and Bill Clinton that caused concern. Tim Russert had asked her in her senate campaign debate about Monica and I wondered why he would bring up those issues again. He brought it up again. He asked John Edwards why his wife didn’t like Hillary. He asked Biden and Dodd about some things they had said about her being polarizing or divisive. Deja vue. We watched MSNBC often, but things changed. Comments about the way she laughed, spoke, clapped, dressed and then more blatantly sexist remarks there and on CNN. This was the first serious woman candidate in our nearly three hundred year history, yet there was silence. No member of Sen. Obama’s campaign made a public statement repudiating the media attack. No member of the DNC stood up. The objection from Women’s rights groups were feeble and not heard on msn. My husband and I were angry and stopped watching. I wrote letters, sent emails, called Senators. THE SILENCE WAS ABSOLUTELY DEAFENING. During that debate, when asked his opinion of Hillary, Sen. Obama never looked up, just said she “wasn’t that bad.” Before the Ohio Primary, a story came out that someone from his campaign had met with the Canadian Consul in Chicago to discuss NAFTA. He denied it. His campaign denied it and then the memo surfaced and he was caught in the lie, but some of his supporters claimed Hillary had done the same. The Canadian Prime Minister and the newspaper said it was not true, but still they spun the story. I’m going to skip here to the RBC meeting on May 31, 2008. I hoped they would do the right thing. Two of the largest swing states in the country. How would they be so stupid? Then I heard about a New Coalition from Donna Brazil and a New Map from Obama and I was told my vote didn’t matter to them, they didn’t need my vote, I was a racist so I should stay home election day. The media told me I was uneducated and poor. I continued my protests, but got back form letters. I left bolgs Kos and Huffpo. I dropped my membership in moveon.org and wrote to them. I wrote to organizations I had supported for years, NARAL, Emily’s List, N.O.W. I researched Obama on the Net and wondered why he wasn’t being vetted as candidates throughout my lifetime had been and why the media refused to ask questions and when the did, had no follow up. I wrote to Brazil, desperate to find some answers and she said stop the hate. What hate. I had been part of a generation of Democrats responsible for the Civil Rights Laws, Roe v Wade, title 9, the Peace Corp and VISTA, anti-war protests. Sending money, stuffing envelopes, making phone calls caucusing, voting, raising my children to respect others, being called names because I supported the rights of others and because I opposed the war in Vietnam. I gave the Party my heart and my money. I had had an illegal abortion and cleaned up after a friend when she aborted herself. Changed the bloody sheets and took care of her. The Supreme Court ruling on Roe made me so happy, my friend and I celebrated with a bottle of cheap wine and that cemented my allegiance to the Democratic Party. My soul belonged to them. Every election I was told I must vote for this person or that person and I listened and voted. What hatred was she talking about, Karen? I have seen the light. I have had my epiphany, my moment of truth with my Party. I no longer like Sen. Obama. There is a sameness to his speeches, he is dishonest, he voted for the Protect America Act (FISA), he flipped on public spending, he moved the DNC to Chicago, he made crude gestures toward Hillary, his bloggers became hateful, profane cartoon imitations of Democrats, ignoring every thing important to me. You need the truth. PUMA is not an organization of Republicans. It is an organization of me two million times over. We don’t back down or fall in line or get over it. We are not just about Hillary anymore. We will fight to get her name on the ballot, placed in nomination and a fair roll call vote because that is the way things have to be done or the Party will permanently lose it’s base and it’s heart. Henry David Thoreau wrote an essay decades ago, “Civil Disobedience” and it is a Revolutionary I idea. A vote can be used as a valid protest when a government or political party is not responding to the needs of the citizens. If Obama wins the nomination, I will vote for John McCain. I feel no need to justify that. I won’t argue his policies or defend them. There is no need. I will simply vote in protest with the hope my vote and the votes of others like me, will send a message to politicians. Don’t mess with me. Don’t lie to me. Don’t take away my hope for a better country.

Sorry, again this is so long, just one more thing. I am not fat, poor, uneducated, racist, hysterical or menopausal. I have never been more sure in my life about the rightness of something and I am completely at peace

PUMA people get over yourselves. Either you all are crazy or bored republicans being paid to write such idiotic things. No true patriotic Democrat would vote for McCain or do anything to risk losing the White House to the Insane and Corrupt Republicans.

  29. Lisa Says:

Anyone who lists dishonesty as a disqualifier, yet claim to support Hillary is laughable.

Aren’t these the very same rules and procedures that Clinton, Gore, Kerry ran under?

For all that history of Hillary cited above, I find it ironic that the people who claim to admire and support her the most could wind up destroying her. Who wants to deal with all this whining and moaning? Men lose everyday, but you don’t see this kind of spectacle.

She is now associated with a “lunatic fringe” whose stated goal is to not only punish Obama, but also the party itself. Obama has shown the party how to raise money to compete.

I just don’t see how she comes out ahead if PUMA succeeds. If Obama does lose, PUMA will no doubt stake its claim as a leader (which it won’t be) in this defeat. Does PUMA really think the party or the country will then elect her in 2012?

For all the claims of this 18M strong support, Hillary still has major campaign debts.

I just wonder why anyone could believe that the Secret Service, FBI, CIA, NSA, et al would truly be fooled by this. Is it because they want to wait and let it come out after the convention? Would that really cause Demos and others who are pissed at the direction the country is headed to vote for MCSame? People, let’s get real; if this came out AFTER he was vetted by these agencies, THEY would look silly, not OBAMA and his supporters! These groups would do well to focus on the REALLY important issues: BO’s votes in the Senate, his relative inexperience (if you follow that thought) and his politcal stances. Rather than focus on conspiracy theories (which look desperate, borderline insane) focus on arguable issues only! If you don’t do that, you run the risk of losing credibililty. Also, please check the veracity of the monetary claims regarding the amounts raised by both Will Bowers and Darragh Murphy? Thank you for posting this (if you decide to do so).

Please if anyone has some sort of civil dialogue with any of thier supporters, and can get something published on any of these sites, please ask them why, in a DEMOCRACY they are fighting for, can they feel it is ok for them to not post my dissenting opinions, while they can freely post theirs? Is this DEMOCRAT. The following comment was posted to her site this morning:

  32. Greg Says:

I find it quite absurd that anyone who was a die hard Hillary fan would vote against party lines to prove their unsatisfaction. Hillary is a great and strong leader and valid choice as President or V.P.

However I feel that one of the issues on why she was not vetted by Obama was simple. It was being married to Bill. He was a wild card and could have presented more problems than offer help.

Hillary also never ran in public polls (nationally) above 50%. She was a polarizing figure and would have brought the republicans in groves if she had won or was on the ticket.

I pray that Obama finds a very prominent position for Hillary in his administration. Her time will come. Her speach at the Convention made my wife and I sit, hold hands as tears ran down our face. But in my heart I think most Americans feel we needed some seperation of time betwen the Bush/Clinton/Bush domination of the highest office in the land.

Her time will come and she has set the bar very high and will go down in history as one of the strongest women in the world. She is not done yet.

As for the PUMA’s and all their splinter groups, they are not on our side. They are not democrats, they are mock deomocrats and republican plants. Which means all the more that we, need to unite together as one behind Obama whether you were for him or not. A vote for MC Bush is a vote that will set back us for the next twenty years. There could be two to three Supreme Court Justices that will be in play in the next 4 to 8 years. I shutter to think of what kind of world that could mean for my thre daughters and all women in general.

If that issue alone was not enough to make you swallow your tongue and go into convulsions, just try to imagine McBush on our economy. He would single handedly run us into the ground. We are in such debt that it threatens our entire future.

Now with him trying to play games by Gov.Palin as a VP choice. We need to mobilize and join together with other pro decmocrat web sites and blogs. We need a strong united voice to shut down PUMA’s (who as of today are represented on Hardball today???) And make our voices heard. Thanks for this great spot.
